SPLNOTE Privacy Policy

SPLNOTE has no servers of its own and no accounts. We do not collect, sell or share your personal data.

What stays on your device

• Your groups, expenses, settlements and settings are stored on your iPhone.
• No analytics, tracking or advertising.
• Purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details.

Shared groups and iCloud

• When you share a group, its data (group name, participant names, optional participant photos, expenses and settlements) is stored in your iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. People you invite can see and sync that group.
• To match you with your name in a shared group, SPLNOTE stores the anonymous iCloud user ID that Apple provides. It does not include your email address or phone number.
• Participant photos are resized on your device before they are synced.
• You can stop sharing a group at any time; the people you invited lose iCloud access. Copies already downloaded to their devices may remain visible.
• iCloud data is handled under Apple's privacy policy. We cannot read it.

Support email

If you email us, we receive only what you choose to send and use it only to answer you.

Children

SPLNOTE is not directed at children under 13.

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
